The Bay Area Scholarship Alliances (BASA) is a non-profit organization committed to empowering college-bound students with local community service initiatives around the Bay Area. We award educational scholarships to young people with local community service initiatives and talent. Our mission is to help young people achieve their scholastic and professional goals by hosting annual scholarship competitions in the community.

Titleholder Scholarships
$500 per title + crown and sash
BASA offers educational scholarships to college-bound students who have a demonstrated commitment to community service. Our scholarships cover tuition fees, books, and other related expenses to help students achieve their academic and professional goals.
Community Service, Talent, and Sisterhood Awards
$100 per award + recognition
BASA also recognizes the outstanding community service, talent and leadership skills of college students around the Bay Area. For example, our Community Service Awards aim to inspire young people to become active agents of change in their communities and to promote the value of service and volunteerism.
