The Bay Area Scholarship Alliances (BASA) is a non-profit organization committed to empowering college-bound students with local community service initiatives around the Bay Area. We award educational scholarships to young people with local community service initiatives and talent. Our mission is to help young people achieve their scholastic and professional goals by hosting annual scholarship competitions in the community.
This non-profit is 100% volunteer-based and lives by its mission to empower young people to achieve their personal, scholastic, and professional goals via public speaking coaching, scholarships, and building their overall confidence. Our representatives act as goodwill ambassadors and serve their respective communities throughout their year of service. Our local titleholders enjoy a fun-filled, busy and exciting year of service. While the community benefits from their service, the titleholders gain incredible personal growth and lifetime connections, which are both priceless.

Titleholder Scholarships
$500 per title + crown and sash
Miss-Basa offers educational scholarships to college-bound students who have a demonstrated commitment to community service. Our scholarships cover tuition fees, books, and other related expenses to help students achieve their academic and professional goals.
Community Service, Talent, and Interview Awards
$100 per award + recognition
BASA also recognizes the outstanding community service, talent and interview skills of college students around the Bay Area. For example, our Community Service Awards aim to inspire young people to become active agents of change in their communities and to promote the value of service and volunteerism.
